Since 1848, OMEGA’s pioneering spirit has not only taken the company to the Moon and to the depths of the oceans, but has also given it the opportunity to time the greatest athletes at the most important sporting events worldwide. OMEGA has always continued to set records and redefine the state of the art in mechanical watchmaking. The brand boasts a significant heritage that includes more than one hundred space missions and, since 1932, has been the “Official Timekeeper” of the Olympic Games. In 2026, OMEGA will hold this role for the 32nd time at the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Milan Cortina.

The company’s mission remains focused on innovation in watchmaking. This goal has led OMEGA to launch calibers with the Co-Axial escapement, the most important innovation in watchmaking over the past 250 years. More recently, the brand introduced the new Master Chronometer certification, which guarantees the highest level of precision and resistance to magnetic fields. In 2023, OMEGA introduced the Spirate™ technology, equipping the movement with an innovative balance spring that allows for extremely fine adjustments to the watch’s timing.
